7 Day Old Beauty | Plymouth Area Newborn Photographer

I have said it before but I am going to say it again. If I could shoot one and only one certain subject and that was all, it would have to be newborns. While it is a TON of work and the most exhausting type of session I do, the end result is so completely worth it! I still kick myself for not having pictures like this done when Jersey was born. On Tuesday morning bright and early, my good buddy Tonia and I met this sweet sweet 7 day old baby girl M. From my experiences with newborns, for some reason, girls just never seem to sleep as soundly and deeply as boys do. This session may have changed my matter of opinion though. This baby girl was SO sleepy and SO bendy and flexible! I seriously could have photographed her ALL DAY LONG! Lucky for her we were on a time limit:)A special thanks to my good friend Tonia for tagging along and giving me an extra set of hands to work with (it is ALWAYS nice to have a helper for these sessions when I can!)

I know its not an extra special picture, but this is ONE of my favorite’s from the session. I adore this awesome rug they had in the nursery! I have a new “go-to” person in the works for products and props. My good friend Kaydi from Kaydi’s Kreations has been busy crocheting some new awesome things for me to use for sessions! Such as this cute little headband here: (and my new basket I scored at an antique shop last weekend!) Always sporting some new Lexi Lou products for my awesome friend Nicole: And thanks to my good friend Windie for pretty much this whole picture:) She made this adorable hat for me, and picked up this cute crate while out shopping one day for me to use as a prop! The white fur, well that was mine:)

T family, thank you once again for allowing me into your home to make a huge mess and pretty much take over the whole place for a day:) You are so blessed to have such a sweet perfect baby girl!

Paint My Belly | Plymouth Area Belly Photographer

This adorable little family is without a doubt becoming one of my favorite client’s! For the 3rd time I had the honor of capturing some special moments for them. The last 2 sessions have been, for the most part, focused on 2 year old T. This time, however, it was all about momma’s belly:) Due on St. Patricks day with baby girl #2, it was maternity pictures for this momma! Did I mention that they live in Indy, and have made the trip 3 times back home for me to photograph them?:)I have every intention of making a drive to Indy when this baby comes to do their newborn session! I am already brainstorming some very cute ideas for this St. Patty’s day baby! Yesterday when we first started our session, we weren’t really complaining about the cold. After some extended time outside, we started to feel like ice cubes though….I think my feet are still cold:)

Mom’s request to use the caboose outside the elementary school she attended as a child:) Dressed to kill, at 7 months pregnant! After freezing our bootie’s off outside, we did some indoor shots! Mom had the CUTEST idea of letting little T paint her pregnant belly! I LOVE these pictures!I seriously could photograph this little girl ALL day long! She is absolutely beautiful! I am sooooo anxious to see what her baby sister is going to look like!

H family: I love ya and I would like to sincerely thank you once again for giving me the chance to capture a special part of your life! I will do all it takes to be able to make my way down to you for baby G’s newborn session! Thank you so much and good luck with the next few months of your pregnancy!

7 Month Cutie Pie | Plymouth Area Baby Photographer

Yesterday I met up with adorable baby M, her mom, and her Grandma at her Grandma and Grandpa’s farm out in the country. Little M is 7 months old and was so much fun to photograph. Not to mention mom had great taste in outfits, which always makes for a fun session:) We hung out at their home and used their gorgeous property for some great shots!

This bed belonged to M’s great-great-great-great (hope I got that right, lol) grandparents. I was so happy when they showed it to me and said they wanted to use it for pictures! This pretty white coat has been in the family since M’s 11 year old cousin was a baby, and it is still white:) And since it has been a while since my lil assistant Jersey has made an appearance doing her thing, here is one:)

Thanks again A and M and little M for spending some time with Jersey and I for M’s pictures! You guys were so generous and I had a very nice time getting to know a little bit about your family!!!

A Snowy Wedding | Plymouth Area (Not-a-Wedding) Photographer

Before you read this, I want to make it very clear that I am NOT DOING WEDDINGS:) Just this one;)

This past weekend I did something I told myself (and alot of others) I would NEVER do again:) I photographed a wedding:) Not your ordinary wedding, however. This was a VERY low key, laid back for someone who holds a very special place in my heart from a looooong time ago! We were outdoors in the snow and cold, so it was quick, to the point, and beautiful all at once! I am so happy I was there to help capture this very special moment for a very special bride (and groom:) and her family and friends!

Snow Dancing | Plymouth Area Photographer

Miss M and I have been talking back and forth the last few months about doing a session with her in the snow this winter. Well, yesterday we made it happen! M lives in Chiacgo and is a dancer and she had this neat idea to do a session of her dancing (mostly barefoot) in the snow! It was FREEZING, and I was bundled up. She had to be and probly still is an ice cube:) I cannot believe this girl was barefoot in the snow! Totally worth it though, these pictures turned out AMAZING. I am incredibly happy with the outcome of our session, and we have already talked about maybe doing it again this summer when it is warm outside. This was the perfect session for me to be able to play with some new things in Photoshop. We had alot of fun and I am very glad I had the chance to do this session!

Love the snow being kicked up in the air in this one:Yep, she is barefoot:)

M, THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for setting this up with me! I am so happy that we were able to make it happen and I have a feeling you are going to be more than happy with these pictures! Love ya girl!
