7 Day Old Beauty | Plymouth Area Newborn Photographer

I have said it before but I am going to say it again. If I could shoot one and only one certain subject and that was all, it would have to be newborns. While it is a TON of work and the most exhausting type of session I do, the end result is so completely worth it! I still kick myself for not having pictures like this done when Jersey was born. On Tuesday morning bright and early, my good buddy Tonia and I met this sweet sweet 7 day old baby girl M. From my experiences with newborns, for some reason, girls just never seem to sleep as soundly and deeply as boys do. This session may have changed my matter of opinion though. This baby girl was SO sleepy and SO bendy and flexible! I seriously could have photographed her ALL DAY LONG! Lucky for her we were on a time limit:)A special thanks to my good friend Tonia for tagging along and giving me an extra set of hands to work with (it is ALWAYS nice to have a helper for these sessions when I can!)

I know its not an extra special picture, but this is ONE of my favorite’s from the session. I adore this awesome rug they had in the nursery! I have a new “go-to” person in the works for products and props. My good friend Kaydi from Kaydi’s Kreations has been busy crocheting some new awesome things for me to use for sessions! Such as this cute little headband here: (and my new basket I scored at an antique shop last weekend!) Always sporting some new Lexi Lou products for my awesome friend Nicole: And thanks to my good friend Windie for pretty much this whole picture:) She made this adorable hat for me, and picked up this cute crate while out shopping one day for me to use as a prop! The white fur, well that was mine:)

T family, thank you once again for allowing me into your home to make a huge mess and pretty much take over the whole place for a day:) You are so blessed to have such a sweet perfect baby girl!
