Birthday Boy | Plymouth Area Child Photographer

Ever since I have passed the 1 year mark of when I officially started doing this as a job, it has been such a pleasure seeing clients return to me for more sessions! I met this family last summer for an extended family session which included an uncle, a grandma, and a grandpa! Yesterday I met handsome Mr. J along with his gorgeous mom and pretty little sister for his 9th birthday pictures! He was a tad bit more involved and cooperative for pictures this time then he was the last time:)We had fun roaming the campus of ND and getting some great shots of Mr J!

Thanks again to momma E for our session! I had a great time with you guys, as did Jersey:)Even though it was cold:(I look forward to seeing you again in October for O’s birthday!

Twins, Twins, Twins….PHEW | Plymouth Area Newborn Photographer

Ask and you shall receive, right? I have only had 1 set of newborn twins since I have been doing photography, and that was ages ago. Back when I REALLY had no idea what I was doing:)So I posted a while back on Facebook asking if anyone knew of twins on the way, and within an hour of my post I had the spot filled. A previous client (also a mother of 6 month twins, and 2 toddlers) got ahold of me about her next door neighbor who was expecting twins anytime, who also had 2 toddlers. (Stay away from the water in that neighborhood, FYI:) They were born a few weeks early, which is normal, and yesterday my friend/assistant Tonia and I met the family for the twin’s newborn session. These guys were 11 days old for the session, and for the record: It. Was. Tough. I mean, I knew it would be. I know it is rough photographing 1 newborn, but I now have an increased patience (Like I didn’t have alot before, ha. You know I did) for any newborn session with 1 baby I ever do. From this point on it had better be a breeze:)Luckily I got some pretty good shots of these adorable babies, we got lucky here and there:)It seemed impossible to have them both sleeping at the same time, when one was awake the other would sleep and vise versa. I left this session saying I would never do another twin newborn session again, but once I got through the editing process and saw the end result, I now have this crazy itch to do another one! Anyone expecting twins soon? Lol:)

Adorable Expecting Fam | Plymouth Area Family Photographer

Today I met up with this cute little family who is expecting baby girl #2 very very soon! Mom is due middle of May with 4 year old A’s little sis. Such a cute family and lots of fun to hang out with! Even though we had to fight the mud AND wind outside on this chilly day, little miss A was a trooper for me! Not to mention a poser:) She reminded me of Jersey when I was taking her pictures and she even got mad when I wanted to take pictures of mom and dad without her:)Here is a little glimpse of our session today!

R family, it was so nice to meet you today and I am SUPER excited to meet your baby girl in just a few short weeks! Thank you for braving the cruddy weather today for our session! Who would have thought we would freeze for a session in the middle of April!?!?!?! See you guys soon!!!!

One Quick Year | Plymouth Area Baby Photographer

This week I got to meet the oh-so-famous baby A and big bro H for A’s 1 year session. I am sure alot of you remember this little girl as the 3 day long newborn session:)This session was much smoother and we managed to get it done in hours instead of days, hehe:)A’s mom is super crafty and made all kinds of cute things to use for her pictures! It was a perfect day outside for a session and we had alot of fun taking pictures and ended with a fun little cake smash!

Thanks again to the wonderful G family for letting me capture this special part of you and your children’s lives! You guys rock!

Mud, Blood, and Potty | Plymouth Area Child Photographer

Yesterday I met this very wacky family (hehe) for some fun pictures at the park! I love the idea mom had to just let them play and get pictures of them being them! Mom brought along with Miss Abby’s helping hands to haul all of our peed on, muddy, bloody clothing and shoes along the way. It was a good thing, because we needed her! We had a blast taking pictures:)It was fun just being goofy and walking around the park having a good time! Even if it did include some messy situations, lol!
