Ask and you shall receive, right? I have only had 1 set of newborn twins since I have been doing photography, and that was ages ago. Back when I REALLY had no idea what I was doing
So I posted a while back on Facebook asking if anyone knew of twins on the way, and within an hour of my post I had the spot filled. A previous client (also a mother of 6 month twins, and 2 toddlers) got ahold of me about her next door neighbor who was expecting twins anytime, who also had 2 toddlers. (Stay away from the water in that neighborhood, FYI:) They were born a few weeks early, which is normal, and yesterday my friend/assistant Tonia and I met the family for the twin’s newborn session. These guys were 11 days old for the session, and for the record: It. Was. Tough. I mean, I knew it would be. I know it is rough photographing 1 newborn, but I now have an increased patience (Like I didn’t have alot before, ha. You know I did) for any newborn session with 1 baby I ever do. From this point on it had better be a breezeLuckily I got some pretty good shots of these adorable babies, we got lucky here and thereIt seemed impossible to have them both sleeping at the same time, when one was awake the other would sleep and vise versa. I left this session saying I would never do another twin newborn session again, but once I got through the editing process and saw the end result, I now have this crazy itch to do another one! Anyone expecting twins soon? Lol
