My First Lohri

Last weekend I drug my dear friend “T” with me to Merrillville to assist me in taking photographs for our first Lohri experience. For those of you who don’t know what a Lohri is, it is an agricultrual winter festival celebrated throughout India. It signifies the end of intense winter in India. In a way it is similar to our New Year celebrations. This was a very unique experience and I am very glad I had the opportunity to be a part of it! Unfortunately (for now) these are the only photographs I am able to post until I get permission from the families involved. I know many of you who knew I was doing this were dying to see some real photographs (you know, like the kind with people in them:), and I will be sure to get some posted as soon as I get the ok!

"A" and "C"

Here is a little peak at some of the photos I have took of the 2 little girls I babysit for:

Baby "A" is 2 months old!

It seems like I just got done taking this little guys newborn pictures, and here he is already 2 months old! Our little baby cousin, “A”! He was full of smiles and spit bubbles for me this day! You can go here to see his newborn pictures!
If you are gonna be in this family, you have to be a Bears fan:)

My Snow Angels

A little fun in the snow with my munchkins:

Miss "M" and her baby sister "L"

I had the pleasure of meeting little Miss “M” and her 2 month old baby sister “L”. What an adorable set of sisters they are! “M” is quite the little ham and I have a feeling mom and dad are gonna have their hands full when she gets older:) Baby “L” was a fiesty little gal, but she cooperated in the end! Keep in mind that there were about 5 extra toddler aged and up kids running through my house while we did this session. I was a little worried how these were gonna turn out:)

This girl has some gorgeous eyes:

And a very goofy side:
Whatever you do, do not make eye contact with the camera:
Probably one of my favorite photos yet:

And you may remember the little guy pictured here with “L” from here. They are buddies! Well, maybe they aren’t quite yet, but their mommies have been best friends for a long time!
