I spent some time with the lovely K family yesterday for some family pictures. When I say time, I mean a long TIME! I know mom is clenching her teeth just waiting to see what kinds of horrible things I am going to say about her family, so I will leave out the details about how the session took us almost 2 and a half hours, and how we had our first of many temper tantrum before the first photo was even snapped:) While it was a rough session, we did end up getting some really good shots of these energetic girls! This family was alot of fun to work with, while they reminded me alot of my own family! With this being said, keep in mind that you never know how your children are going to behave once the camera comes out! And it is part of my job to have patience and expect a tantrum now and then. No need to feel embarassed for you kids behavior. As a parent myself, I have seen it all!

When mom contacted me to set up our session, I was very excited that she wanted to incorporate dad’s career of firefighting into some of the pictures with the 3 girls. I love the idea and I love this shot!:
