Hi, I am Jenn.

I am a mother to four beautiful children, (2 step-children) ten year old boy/girl twins, a 6 year old daughter, and a 2 year old son. I am a wife to a wonderful husband going on eight years now. I am a daughter to the most wonderful and supportive parents anyone could have. I have younger twin brothers whom I love with all of my heart. I also have some of the most caring and supportive friends and family anyone could ask for. I grew up with my family in small town Walkerton and moved to Plymouth when I met my husband. I am a very family oriented person and to me family is the most important part of life. I started getting into photography about six years ago, mostly just trying to capture my family memories. Now, I am here to capture these same memories for your family.

After having children of my own and raising two others, I realized how important it is to document the little moments that are so easily forgotten. The expecting mothers, to the newborns babies. The first steps, to graduating high school. Even those cute little couples who are in love. Five years into this journey full time and I still have a hard time caling it my job. It's my creative art, and I strive to deliver images to you that will hang on your walls and that you will cherish forever.

Thursday I had the pleasure of meeting this little cutie! Baby “C” turned 6 months old this past week and his mommy brought him over for some photos. Such a happy little baby, I think he only fussed one time during the session. Here is a peek:

I was quite excited to get a chance to use this rocker I just got! A good friend of mine was gonna get rid of it, but luckily she thought of me before she did!

While he wasn’t exactly full of smiles, he sure did make some great eye contact with my camera:

After a little mini session this past week, I snapped a few quick shots of Jersey (actually taken while walking back to the truck) Doctored them up a little bit in Photoshop and really quite happy with them considering it was a spur of the moment thing!

Teenage Cousins

Yesterday I had the honor of doing my first shoot involving a teenager. When I say teenager, I actually mean FOUR teenagers!!! Expecting lots of complaining and attitude (because I was a teenager once myself:), I have to admit, this was probably one of the most fun shoots I have done yet! Now, I think I wouldn’t mind meeting some more teens for photos in the future! It was cold, and windy, and muddy out, and these 4 were troopers, kindly doing anything I asked them (or told them) to! Take a look:

Baby "R" – 7 Months Old

2 Year Old Session – Little Miss "C"

Meet little miss “C”. A two year old with attitude:) I will admit, this was definitely one of my more challenging shoots. And I say shoots literally! We had to do this little lady’s session twice:) However, as much as she kept me on my toes and in between the 2 year old trantrums (which by the way I am starting to get used to) she did capture my heart with many more beautiful photos than I expected to get. She is a beautiful little girl and I must say, as hard as it was to get these priceless shots, I am happy with the outcome! I look forward to watching little “C” grow in the upcoming years!

If there is one thing I have learned working with 2 year olds, it is bribery:) Cookie anyone???
