Almost There | Plymouth Area Maternity Photographer

For some reason I dont get a whole lot of maternity sessions. Today I had the joy of meeting the M family who have been planning this session for months now! We got lucky with the weather because they were calling for rain most of the day. We had sunshine and some humidity, which momma wasnt a fan of, but it was better than rain:)I am looking forward to meeting their baby boy very soon. He is due to make his arrival on the 4th of July, but we all have a feeling I will be meeting him much earlier than that. It was alot of fun meeting you guys today along with Mr Duke, your first “baby”. Good luck with everything and I will see you guys very soon!

6 Day Old Princess | Plymouth Area Newborn Photographer

Yesterday 6 day old Miss M came over to my house for a newborn session. I have been on a bad luck streak with these little girls lately and once again, this one challenged me….all day:)She was so stubborn and wide awake for only being 6 days old, but we ended up getting some good sleepy shots (after a car ride to get her to sleep, which worked like magic:) I had lots of other plans I wanted to do with this little one, but she just was not taking any part of our session. I would swear the sound of my voice made her cry:)I tend to have the affect on them lately!

Little Miss G (Again) | Plymouth Area Kid Photographer

I am sure by  now you are used to seeing this face:)Little Miss G and I met once again for another photo session:)I love this family dearly! Mom never ceases to amaze me with her creativity and awesome ideas for little G! This time we actually included a twin size bed set up outside along with some other great props:)G was not in the best of moods this particular day, but despite her crabbyness we still ended up with some very great shots!!!!

Chub-A-Lub | Plymouth Area Newborn Photographer

This week I met up with 12 day old baby K for her newborn session. This was one of the more difficult newborn’s I have had in a while. She was a little older than I prefer they be, especially for the size she was. She didn’t weigh a lot, she was just very long and chubby, making her not so flexible for posing. We did manage to get her sleeping, which was a task in itself. She was a very very stubborn one! But such a doll baby and we even got to bring her outside in the summer heat for some garden pictures! I was so happy to finally be outdoors with a newborn! Bring on the summer weather!

Let’s Trash The Dress | Plymouth Area Photographer

Last weekend I FINALLY got to do a Trash The Dress session with Miss A who has been married almost a year now. I did her and her hunny’s engagement session last year about this time and we had planned on doing this session right after their wedding but things got crazy and we never got to make it happen. This session was SOOO much fun and I am hoping to get some more girlies interested in doing these types of sessions! You don’t actually have to “trash” your dress. I am sure A’s dresses (she had 2:) came clean of the dirt, mud, and grass we got on them with no problem! It was so much fun and we had a GREAT location to work with! She was such a good sport and was pretty much willing to do anything I wanted her to:)

Thanks again A for having this session done with me! It was so much fun and I am super happy that we finally got to make it work! Thanks girl!
