One more of my maternity sessions (I had three in the month of May, and they all decided they wanted to come at once
You may remember this guys parents and his big “sister” Faya the chihuahua a few weeks earlierA much needed SLEEPING baby who was putty in my hands made up for the few strong willed babies I had before himI love his distinct features on his face, he seriously looks like a little man. He has the biggest hands and feet I have seen on a baby boy! Such a sweetie!
I met this little dude’s mommy and daddy a while back for their maternity session, which by the way rocked. Little Colton had some things go wrong when he was born (his collarbone was broken during birth) so there were some restrictions when it came to posing him. Little did I know that would be the least of my problems with this little man! The happy family of 3 were here the ENTIRE day and Colton would NOT sleep for us at all. What happened? He waited until 30 seconds after we called it quits to zonk out and actually be somewhat posable, lol. We did some VERY quick shots since the sun was actually starting to go down, haha! I am glad we got the shots we did, I guess it could of been much worseBe ready to watch this little guy grow up! He is a Watch Me Grow baby

This session was actually (supposed) to be one of my first sessions after my maternity leave, and the day that we met up little miss Ali was NOTTTTT having any part of picture taking at all. Soooo we rescheduled for a later date and gave it another whirlThe second time was MUCH better than the first time, it was like she was a whole new girlI first met her at 3 months old, so its crazy to me that she is already over a year old!

You know em, you love em. Definitely one of my absolutely favorite families/clients/friends I get the pleasure of photographing quite frequentlyThe Mullins family! We made a trek up north to Lake Michigan for this session, as Mrs. Mullins is always out to outdo herself from our last sessionIt was SUPER windy and cold, so we were moving quick! We got some GREAT shots as always I can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve next time

Its a good thing we did miss Adilynn’s maternity session when we did, because its as only 4 days later that she decided to make an appearanceBaby girl fought me a bit when it was time to sleep, but eventually she gave up and we got some adorable shots of her chubby cheeked selfThese pictures make her look so much bigger than she was! She only weighed 7lbs. 4oz. at birth! She’s a perfect little angel and her mom and dad are definitely blessed!
